All riders are free to jump into whatever group the feel most comfortable riding in. And jumping into a different classification while riding (i.e. Group A too fast, drop down to Group B/Group C too slow, bump up to Group B) .
A 18+ mph Strenuous to Very Strenuous 50 + miles
B 15 -18 mph Moderate to Strenuous 30-50 miles
C 12 – 14 mph Moderate 20-30 miles
D 10 – 12 mph Casual 10-20 miles
Ride leaders will identify themselves to let everyone know what group they are leading.
